Lambrini Girls Bring The Noise to Montreal

Words: AUGUST REED Photos: NEIL MOTA June 19, 2026

Loud, fearless, and impossible to ignore, Lambrini Girls brought their singular brand of punk catharsis to Montréal’s Théâtre Beanfield on June 19. Some shows entertain; Lambrini Girls provoke, celebrate, challenge, and occasionally do all three at once.

There was little separation between stage and crowd, performer and participant. Frontwoman Phoebe Lunny moved through the room with equal parts conviction and chaos, while bassist Selin Macieira-Boşgelmez and touring drummer Samantha Collings kept everything hurtling forward with relentless intensity.

Their songs arrive wrapped in sharp humor and breakneck hooks, but beneath the noise lies something more deliberate: a refusal to look away, stay quiet, or settle for easy answers.
